Philadelphia: Printed [by John Adams] for Benjamin and Thomas Kite, and for sale by them at their stores, no. 28, North Third Street, and no. 21, South Fourth Street, 1807., 1807.. Good.. - 16mo, contemporary brown calf with a gilt-titled red leather label and gilt rules on the spine. The covers are rubbed and scuffed with wear to the edges and corners. The leather is splitting along the joints and the front cover is fragile. The head and tail of the spine are chipped with a small piece out from the head of the spine. 175 pages plus  pages of ads under the heading "Benjamin and Thomas Kite have for sale, a number of valuable books, amongst which are the following...". The hinges are cracked and there is a small sliver out from the top of the front endpaper. The pages are darkened with some occasional foxing and soiling. Good.
Printed by John Adams (not the President), so stated on the verso of the title page.
From the library of Jane Johnson of Philadelphia, signed by her at the top of the title page, with her book label on the front pastedown. This little book was subsequently presented to Richard H. Johnson by his mother with her inscription on the front endpaper.
