- sc A superb 10 inch high by 8-3/4 inch wide chromolithograph from "Little Charley's Visit: What He Saw in Central Park", depicting the young boy Charley in the company of his mother, strolling by the large birds then housed at Central Park. An ostrich, emu and another large bird are contained in the fenced in field along which stroll the mother and child. Charley, attired in period red clothing, points out a pelican which is standing along their path. There is some minor creasing to the top left corner and stab marks along the left margin, none of which affects the image. This lovely print is handsomely mounted, with glue along the edges of the verso, into a handsome brick red mat. This print is from an exceedingly rare book. It was probably from the series "The Juvenile Classics from the Rutherford Park Press".
