- Octavo, 9-1/4 inches high by 6-7/8 inches wide. Three-quarter maroon calf and black cloth, titled in gilt with gilt-ruled raised bands on the spine. The leather is split along the rear joint and the spine has peeled away from the text block. The covers are rubbed with wear to the corners and edges and the front cover is nearly detached. iv & 764 pages. The hinges are cracked. The endpapers, pastedowns and blanks are darkened with a small piece out from the front edge of the front endpaper. The pages are toned. Good.
